Cycling through open windows

Postby Melloware » Wed Sep 06, 2006 10:24 pm

If you want to switch between more than two windows, you can set up an Alt + Escape to go forward through all open windows (in the order they were opened), and/or an Alt + Shift + Escape sequence to go through in reverse.

I think this circling is better than the integrated "windows next task" circling.

I totally agree with you, this is much snappier and more reliable than the code i have to cycle through the windows.

Ctrl+shift+Z : cycle through Zoom modes (TV+DVD mode)

This one works if you set your TV as widescreen in setup.

Oh...and the Enter and OK keys work as last channel recall in TV. It will take you to the last channel viewed ON THAT SAME SOURCE. If you have only one source it will work just like recall.

Which button did you assign it to?

On the INFO tab are you sure the Last Command registered the correct button you mapped it to?

Are you sure the app your are trying to close respects ALT+F4 for close? Some apps do not...

Hmm that doesn't make any sense unless for some reason your remote won't let you learn Power # and *.

Doesn't make sense to me neither.....I tried with my pronto remote, and also the original mce remote...neither works with those keys. Regardless....working now with a different button choice.
