Solution: It looks like somehow your MM 3.2 COM object on installation has failed to properly install.

1. Uninstall MM.

2. Install MM by right clicking the installer and choosing "Run As Administrator".

3. When MM is done installing it will ask you if you want to "Run It Now". Say YES. If you have said NO previously that is why MM did not install the COM object properly.

OR....

4. Run MediaMonkey once. You may have to run it once and then run it once as Administrator. Then close MediaMonkey. This is a strange but important step to install the MM com object.

5. Run iMonkey. It should work.

Any errors on Screen or in your log? Are you using iPhone OS 4.0?

Are you getting an error "Server Not Connected Host 192.168.1.12 on Port 6001" or does it say "Port (null).

Change it back to 6001 now. It is a bug in OS4 that Port (null) it doesn't take the default Port 6001. So setting it to 5000 then back to 6001 will no longer give the Port (Null) error.

OK so now it cant actually connect to your PC at 192.168.1.12 on Port 6001.

1. Make sure your iPhone is on the same WIFI network as the PC. Sometimes people accidentally connect to a neighbors.

2. Make sure iMonkey is still running.

3. Make sure netstat -a shows Port 6001 listening.

4. Make sure your IP Address did not change from 192.168.1.12.

and when you look in TAsk manager imonkey.exe is still running right? Try restarting iMonkey.exe and checking netstat -a again.
