RiverMote & Airfoil

Postby synergie » Mon Jul 19, 2010 4:56 am

OK, thanks as you sorted it and helped me to solved the issue regarding the "Server Error".

Everything's fine and working perfectly on both PCs and iPhones (3G and 3GS).

Now, sorry about that, here is another issue:

I can't use Airfoil and RiverMote all together.
Airfoil must quit & relaunch Media Center to hijack it ! So I let Airfoil hijack Media Center, but when I want to
use RiverMote to pilot my laptop, it says that: Jriver Media Center is already started. Please close it !

So I can't have Airfoil (to send through my Wifi network to my hifi components) and RiverMote at the same time.

This is not the the case with Remote (from iTunes) or Remoteless (for Spotify).

Waiting to read from you, on a sunny day from Paris.

See this thread:

And this one...

Basically it is a limitation that only one EXE can control JRMC at a time. The reason Airfoil and Itunes don't have this problem is because Itunes does NOT have the same limitations as JRMC. I am just a third party developer at the mercy of the JRMC API.
