Still disconnecting

I've been through all the faq's and I'm actually the one who found out Bluetooth killed the connection but I'm still losing my connection ever since going to os 4. I'll have it for a while then lose it, I haven't been able to figure out when although the last 2 instances have been when I've let it go to sleep rather than turning off the phone, then I can't reconnect until I reboot rivermote server.

Frustrating.

Hmmm I just tested on OS4 on my iPhone 4 and the sleep/wake disconnected and reconnected properly. When waking back up it waits until your WIFI connection is re-estblished and then re-connects.

Is there anything in your rivermote.log? Are you seeing Socket #10054 errors?

This is still happening and it's happening to my friend as well. You haven't had any other complaints about it disconnecting? I can't seem to peg down what triggers it. It'll be working fine for a while then when I go to open it up again (always when the phone has gone to sleep) it can't connect. I restarte the server and it's fine.

No one else is reporting it either but something bad must be going on that you are getting it to happen. I have a feeling it might be logging related I am considering updating the Server to use a better threading model for log statements if you are willing to BETA test?

I changed the version to 4.0.1 to match the client and I changed the entire logging mechanism which I suspect is the problem with the lockups.

Hi

I experienced the same problem, but it suddenly disapeared.
Only thing I can think of that I did between not working and workin, was that I went to settings and activated and disabled "Disable sleep".
In short, I fooled around with the settings, but them back the way they were and it seemed to work afterwards.

[Edit]By the way i run JRiver 17, WinXP and RiverMote 4.0.1

I experienced this problem again yesterday, but only once.
Therefore I am not sure that I have solved this problem.

Can you look in rivermote.log when you get disconnected?
