X10 Commander would make a great Apple Watch app. Has anyone given this any thought?

Hmmm I handn't even thought of that!

The thing I would have to check is does it have a WIFI connection itself or must it be tethered to your phone over Bluetooth so the phone handles all internet communication.

My understanding is that the watch has its own WiFi. Whatever is set up on your phone is also set up on your watch.

The latest Apple Watch OS supports stand alone apps with WiFi and the development kit is part of Xcode. Has anyone tried to port X10 Commander to Apple Watch?
