How To Get Device Status In Tasker

Postby Terrman » Sat Aug 29, 2015 4:19 pm

I would like to get the status of a device via Tasker task.

It is simple enough to control a device with a http://192.168.0.132:8086/?x10command=Device~sendplc~"B1 ON" command, but what to do to get just the current state?

Sure try this "queryplc" command...

Code: Select all

Actually I came across "StatusRequest" as in...

Code: Select all
http://192.168.0.132:8086/?x10command=Device~StatusRequestplc~"B1"

This seems to work without having to include an "ON or OFF" argument.
