[SOLVED] App server commands

Postby goedh452 » Sat Apr 07, 2012 6:19 am

Hello,

I have the Light Manager pro including the software with the app server. Since I am able tot develop iPhone apps I was wondering if there is any documentation available on the commands that should be send to the app sever from the iPhone. Maybe someone would be willing to send me some code examples. I want to create an app just for me and nog for commercial use.

Thanks for the quick response! I seem not to be able to connect to the server JB Media has implemented in the LightMan Studio software. They claim to have worked with you to let the ZWave app connect to their server. Is the communaction with the LightMan software the same as with the ZWave Commander software?

EDIT:

My biggerst question is how to set up the connection with the LightMan Studio app server. I can connect, but that's it. It does not process my commands and the debug window of the software does nog show any input.

We definitely worked with JB Media and the protocol has not changed in 2 years so I know it works we have a lot of their customers using our app.

I think there is a FAQ on the JB Media site about any issues.

Also, yes Zwave Commander and Lightswitch are identical. Lightswitch was created for companies like JB Media who wanted an "unbranded" version of the app more generic.
