Hi, I've catalogued my music in jukes, but I found it doesn't catalog everything.
I have the following scenario: I have some unorganised music which lives in the folder C:\Music\Unknown Artist\Unknown Album\ In this folder there is a lot of mp3s from a lot of different artists. Each of the mp3s has full ID3 tags.
So I am wondering why has Jukes not catalogued these mp3s?
Jukes works assuming you have a full album in a directory like \U2\War. \U2\Boy... U2\Achtung Baby etc.
It reads the FIRST MP3 ID3Tag in an album directory to get the artist and album info to create the record in the database and then rips through an adds the rest of the MP3's in that directory to that album. SO if Song 6 of that directory had a different artist or info in the ID3 tag it would be ignored.
Agreed. I more wrote this tool not to compete with other MP3 players like MediaMonkey out there, I used this project more as a Java Swing and Hibernate teaching tool. So I wrote it to basically deal with my personal collection.
