Hard Disk scaning

Is it possible to scan selected hard disk directory with all sub-directories for all audiofiles to add entire music collection to database instead of scaning directories one by one?

Jukes was meant to be album based. Not just random songs in directories like many other MP3 organizers allow. So my whole collection is /artist/album structure like...

/U2/War
/U2/Boy
/U2/Achtung Baby

So if I find a problem with any song in an album I don't add the album to the DB. As for your refresh issue...if I see that a directory has already been added like /U2/Boy I just skip that album on the next AutoAdd. I don't check for new files I just skip that directory for performance because I am assuming you have already added that album.

Does that make sense?

My music collection is based on "/artist/album"-structure too.
It will be great if Jukes can scan HD, process any directory with music files as album directory and add this album to the DB automatically.
You have mentioned "AutoAdd" mode. Is this mode available?

OHHHH Yes. It's under the menu option Catalog->Album Finder Just point it at the root parent directory of youur /artist/album and it will go through your directories adding albums.

Thank you for your help!
It really works!!

P.S. I found one thing to be improved - Artist field processing 1) for Various artists, 2) for multiple artists

Yeah that is a major problem. It grabs the artist of the first Mp3 in the directory and uses that to create the album. We use Various Artists as the artist, and Soundtrack as the artist for soundtracks. Sorry!
