Postby Phillips » Thu Feb 01, 2007 9:30 pm

Version 4.1.0.31 was running great until I just ran windows update. I got the following updates.

Security Update for Windows XP (KB918439)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0: x86 (KB928416)
Remote Desktop Connection (Terminal Services Client 6.0) for Windows XP (KB925876)
Update for Windows XP (KB920342)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB918439)
Driver update for C-Media AC97 Audio Device

I can't play songs any more and get the following error.

Duh, Forget that, the updated driver just killed my sound card. Reinstalling the older driver fixed the issue.

Whew! Yeah I was going to say it had to be a sound card or driver issue if it worked before the Windows Update.
