[CLOSED] Cisco Clean Access...

Postby markeyro » Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:21 pm

Hello there!
I noticed on one of the other threads that "you" mentioned the possibility of creating a similar utility for another system.

I am a student at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Our campus has wireless, everywhere, but same deal, relogin every time, VERY LAME!!!

Ball State uses Cisco Clean Access to do their wireless login credentialing.

So i grabbed the source of what i hope would be the 3 pertinent screens.

When you first try to access the internet you get this code.... This redirects you to the login page...

<html><head><META http-equiv='refresh' content='1;URL=https://ccaserver02.bsu.edu/auth/perfigo_weblogin.jsp?cm=ws32vklm&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FSunlite%2DTraveler%2DBicycle%2DPannier%2DBags%2Fdp%2FB000BMUDY0%2Fref%3Dsr_1_23%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dsporting%2Dgoods%26qid%3D1220373564%26sr%3D1%2D23'></head><body><center>You are being redirected to the network authentication page.<br>If you are not redirected automatically, then please click <a href='https://ccaserver02.bsu.edu/auth/perfigo_weblogin.jsp?cm=ws32vklm&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FSunlite%2DTraveler%2DBicycle%2DPannier%2DBags%2Fdp%2FB000BMUDY0%2Fref%3Dsr_1_23%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dsporting%2Dgoods%26qid%3D1220373564%26sr%3D1%2D23'>HERE</a>.</center></body></html>

Here is the code from the page that you get after the redirect and where you enter your login credentials: (i clicked a link to amazon when i first opened my browser, which is what that url is referring to...) And as i look at that i think i might need to grab the right source from the frame with the data input fields. my bad, i'll retry and repost....
<html>
<frameset cols="175,*" frameborder="no" border="0" framespacing="0">
<frame src="perfigo_login.jsp?compact=true&reqFrom=perfigo_frame_login.jsp&index=0&uri=http://www.amazon.com/Sunlite-Traveler-Bicycle-Pannier-Bags/dp/B000BMUDY0/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1220373564&sr=1-23&session=&cm=ws32vklm&userip=10.130.133.138" name="left" scrolling="auto">
<frame src="https://cca.bsu.edu/header3_new.htm" name="right" scrolling="auto">
</frameset>
</html>

Finally the code that is generated post login, on the bsu site. too much to post i'll bet but i'll put some of the header source....

Mark,

Thanks for posting!

1. I think we can make something work here. Other university students have reported a similar setup using cisco. I know Bowling Green uses Cisco also. I think I could make this happen!

2. i will let you know when I have something to test by PMing you. when I am ready. Sound good? Might not be for a little bit because i have like 3 other apps i am working on but I promise I know i can do this.

I do need more info on that login page. You might need to do View Source on each frame or even the whole page.

Melloware is fine but if you want to look me up just go to http://melloware.com/info/ and check out my LinkedIn profile.

I am packaging up you a beta and will send to the email you provided. You will need OS 2.1 on your phone though so I hope you have done the update? This may be some trial and error but i did my best to get this correct first shot based on the HTML code you sent.

No did not get your email. Wait the app showed as connected? But yet you still had to validate with Safari. That is weird. There must be something we are missing.

Oh wait...can you get to http://www.google.com without having to validate? Because that is the site I check to see if you are already connected to the internet?

Does on the success screen it show your Local Ip as 10.130.133.XXX something?

Hey guys, I just downloaded the BlueSocket app, and then just read that this would not work for Ball State University's Campus, which I am at for the next four years, so would there be anyway that I could also get a copy of that app if you get it working?

Thanks,
Scott

We are in the process of BETA testing it to get it to work. Once we do I will release it on the AppStore same as BlueSocket!

We are currently using Bluesocket at the University of Florida and this app works fine with the limited testing I've done. We are moving towards a NAC solution and are currently testing in our lab with authentication and this app works great with that also.

I see that you are working on one that focuses on NAC and I would love to be a beta site for this testing.

You mean you are switching from BlueSocket to Cisco????

If so I would love to work together to get a Cisco Hotspot app working similar to the way BlueSocket Authenticator works but it has been frustrating because I don't have a Cisco network to test on and my two BETA testers have been doing the best they can to get me the information I need but we have been unsuccessful so far....
