iOS 11 will only support 64-bit apps

Postby darcilicious » Tue Jun 06, 2017 9:40 pm

It would seem that the current Intelliremote app on iOS is still in 32-bit which will not work on the upcoming release of iOS 11. Are the plans to update this app for iOS 11?

That is an excellent question I was asked by another user recently.

The problem with updating the app is Apple has introduced so many requirements and UI guidelines between IOS3 (when I first wrote the app) and IOS11 that I would basically need to rewrite the current app from scratch for IOS11. I am not sure I will have that kind of time for a full rewrite with my day job taking up most of my time.

I am not ruling it out, I just can't commit to any kind of promise when or if to have it completed.
