Connection Issues - Turn off Bluetooth

Postby jroyale » Tue Feb 16, 2010 8:58 am

If you are having connection issues and you've done everthing to date (firewall, router & defender) and it still doesn't connect I would suggest turning off your Bluetooth if it is on. I have just gone through 3 painful weeks of troubleshooting including buying a new router only to find out that the Bluetooth when turned on was affecting the network protocols somehow and causing this and another program similar to not connect.

Hope this helps.

I have no idea what the problem is but it must be somewhere in the iPhone bluetooth stack. Because RiverMote doesn't use Bluetooth at all and this used to never be a problem until the OS 3.1 update so clearly Apple changed something.

I have no idea how to debug this problem considering my code just checks for an internet connection and has nothing to do with bluetooth.

Is your phone jailbroken by any chance? I am just trying to narrow down if it is related to Jailbreak?

Hi

no my iphone is not jailbreak.

But, you re right. It has nothing to do wiht your soft.
I try to use the Itune remote, and I ve exactly same problem with bluetooth has to be disconnected.
So it is a iphone problem. May be you can tell this to apple.

No jailbreak here either and I second...it's not your software. I have an issue with airmouse as well. It's not really a big conern for me because I only use bluetooth in my car.
