Yeah RA keeps telling me they are going to work on it but it has been 2 years now and I have still seen no progress.

Did you hear anything from Eric? Or got to try his plugin with switching speakers?

I have not heard from him either. Have you tried to contact him since you are a registered user of his plugin?

He never got back to me either. What did you send originally to Airfoil? Maybe if more than one person sends in a bug report, they might consider working on it quicker? :/ Just bothers me some that you always have to go to the computer if you want to switch speakers and not have all running all the time... (Especially while having such a nice app to control MM :) )

Gee, that is like half an eternity.... Are you a registered User with them? Do you know if they have some kind of Bug Forum or so where you can read up on all their noted Bugs? Thanks for continuing to try on it and have a good start into the week :)

Yes I am a registered user and I filed a defect on their support forum. They acknowledged the defect as I even sent them source code showing the issues and they confirmed it. They said they would eventually get to it. I just sent them another email.

Well two months later I suppose it's time to ask again. What is the status of the Ticket? Did you ever get a response to your mail? Any time frame? Still annoys me that I always have to come back to my computer to switch speakers with airfoil :( Let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for getting in touch with us. The scripting interaction you're referring to was a quick, limited, and wholly unsupported option for offering controls for Airfoil. We're working on improving that into a way that's more robust and can be supported in the future, but we don't have any further estimates other than "when it's ready". We're currently focused on things like improving our support of Windows 8 (since it just came out), but this is definitely on our radar. Stay tuned for updates and do let us know if you come across any other questions or issues.

Just got a response from Airfoil. Still nothing promising :/

I will try and update MonkeyTunes with the new version and send you a BETA to try to see if it works!

Weee so the writing them again, and asking over and over might have finally worked :) Yup just let me know when you got something to test.

EDIT: I just tried the new Version. And for some reason I can't get MM to start anymore... Do you have the same problem, or is MM working fine?

So I tested again. And the current MonkeyTunes Version crashes MediaMonkey if you try to use Airfoil. So I had to uninstall MT for now and waiting for the update.

You mean when you use Airfoil and point it at "MonkeyTunes" the application right to intercept its sound? Mine still crashes too. It works without MonkeyTunes installed though?

No. Well I got MT installed. Select speaker in MM. Airfoil wants to restart MM, MM tries to start but crashes.
When MT is uninstalled, Airfoil and MM work just fine.

So my guess is your old Airfoil.dll might not work well with the new Airfoil? Well let me know when you got a new MT beta, and I'll give it a shot. Until then MM+MT won't work with Airfoil.
