sending ctrl-o via intelliphone's keybord?

Postby gugi2002 » Sat Nov 01, 2008 6:14 am

Hi there,
I am wondering how do I send ctrl-o trough the intelliphone's keyboard, for example to open a medial file in powerdvd7?

Thanks much for a wonderful product!

Right now there is no way to send CTRL+O through the keyboard. I am limited to the current iPhone keyboard layout which has no CTRL+ALT+WIN keys but I am thinking of a clever way of adding them in a future release.

The only way to do that currently in 1.1 is to map a remote key to CTRL+O in your powerDVD7 profile in Intelliremote to a button of your choosing. Sorry!

Thanks much! Mapping a remote key to ctrl-o is a nice idea.
You may want to take a look at how the Terminal app is implemented in Cydia for the iPhone. It can send different modifier keys by tapping in the 8 directions on the screen and then pressing the letter.

Wow that is very cool idea! I had another user ask for the F1-F12 keys which are also not on the keyboard in the iPhone so I am trying to come up with a clever way of supporting everything. In the next iPhone release due out any day now I added manual buttons on the keyboard screen for ESC, BACKSPACE, TAB, and the 4 Arrow keys.
