[FIXED] Intelliremote on a different subnet

Postby djassa1 » Mon Dec 08, 2008 6:57 am

I am using a VPN to connect to Intelliremote server and my Iphone is on a different subnet. It seems that Intelliremote will refuse connections if coming from a different subnet than the server side.
On the same network everything works as it should. Is there any configuration on the server side to make it accept connection from a client that is on a different subnet? Thanks for any help!

Well it should work? Are you sure you can ping the PC Address from the different subnet and that your firewall between subnet's is allowing Port 6000? Can you telnet to IP:6000 and you should recieve a response "200 Intelliremote Server". If you do not my guess it is still blocked.

Thanks for your help, but It was a server configuration problem. The system is multi-homed with 2 ethernet interfaces and one without gateway. Added the default gateway and everything worked.
