[CLOSED] compatibilty question

Postby denno99 » Tue Sep 09, 2008 9:32 pm

Does this only work with BlueSocket. My hospital requires similar authentication on a web page but they're not using BlueSocket (I believe its Cisco)--will this work?

Yes, this only works with a BlueSocket network.

However, if you are willing to do a little work I could probably write a similar application for your Cisco hotspot that works the same as this application. I just need to know some details.

1. When you first try and hit say "www.google.com" does it re-direct you to the Cisco login page? I need an example of that URL.

2. When you are on that page i need you to in IE or Firefox do a View Page Source and email me the HTML from that whole page to info@melloware.com.

Sound good?

Great so when you hit Google the first time it redirects you to https:/1.1.1.1/login.html. Good to know. The HTML source will be key for me to figure it out. But it sounds very doable. I mean all of these hotspot software packages are not that different.
